Toe Jam

Its cold sooooo cold. went for a surf 2 days ago, waves were really fun but when i got out my toes froze up and started aching like each toe had been hit with a hammer, so when i got home i thought i would stick them in a bucket of warm water, bad idea, the sudden temp change was too much and it felt like my toes were gonna shoot of my foot like little toe rockets. was such a dull aching pain and lasted for about an hour, slowly my feet warmed up after rubbing them constantly and doing little toe push ups. my toes are still not talking to me, they are very upset.

anyway yeah its snowing, ah lovely :) well least i thought for the first day , but a week of wet feet, slush puppy puddles, gale force arctic winds and some of the most embarrassing slips and slides on the pavement..i am over it. so yup enjoy South Africa you scumbags !  

placement is going well, only just over 2 weeks till its all over, it has gone so fast. then im off from 17th of december till end of january. its a good amount of time off but much of it will be spent doing essays.

I was walking through the shopping mall yesterday and saw what looked like a bunch of woman with their feet in fish tanks, on closer inspection i found out it actually was woman with their feet in fish tanks, i asked the one lady what she was doing and apparently its a new craze where this type of fish goes nuts for dead skin so they ex-foliate your feet by munching away, weird. there was a massive line to get this done. this made me feel happy, as  even though the snow sucks at least i dont have to eat toe jam like the poor fishies.
