Goodbye to usokitabu (swahili for Facebook)

Hello

I have deleted my Facebook account and just gonna use this in the future to keep friends and family up to date with all things Warren. Woke up on Monday morning and when i stood up my right leg just said 'nope' and i pretty much keeled over. couldnt stand on it at all , if i did i would get a sharp pain. So kinda shimmied down the road to see the doc, after alot of prodding and twisting she told me she didnt know what it was but gave me tablets for it and now im fit as a fiddle , whats a fiddle anyway?, isnt it a violin?, and how can a violin be fit ?
Been doing a couple shifts at Quiksilver , all good that side. havnt surfed much , have only had 2 surfs since been back, just have not been much waves.

Been trying to explain to my Nigerian flatmate the concept of recycling cause he said they dont have recycling in Nigeria. I told him he must put food waste in the red bin and recyclable waste in the green bin, he then asked me if rice was recyclable, i said no , then he asked if pasta was recyclable , i said no, he then said it should be , ha ha cracks me up.

just finishing off a book called 'let my people go surfing' by Yvon Chounaird the
founder of the clothing brand Patagonia , really interesting , all about how he has proven you can be a huge company and be succesful and still manage to do it in a ethical way. Onto another book called 'Deep Ecology: living as if nature mattered' pretty hard read but really interesting.
off to glasgow tomorrow for 2 days.Supposed to be a Documentary festival on down there so hopefully check a few.

  1. Dude, I'd say 70% of the time you go to a doctor in the UK they'll tell you they not sure whats wrong with you. They too busy devising plans to blow up Glasgow airport.

Where I used to work we would keep all our old cooking oil and then this guy would pick it up and convert it into bio-diesel for tractors. I know some hotels actually did have food wastage bins which was then used for compost heaps but it is not a hugely popular practice just yet.

On the subject of re-using the old this is a link to the old california games video game. The surfing is addictive, I can do air 360's
